The AOF is the only global community of its kind, dedicated to responding to the emergent needs of members with regards to information, research and essential project development support, be it technological or financial.
We support members in the design, implementation, and scaling of their nature-based solutions, in order to mitigate the effects of climate change, and improve and sustain the economic prospects and quality of life of the local communities’ most affected by climate change.

- to advance and accelerate global ecosystem restoration, reforestation, nature conservation and protection efforts by uniting organisations worldwide and fostering a dialogic space for the exchange of information and best practices.
- to positively influence global attitudes to project financing, development, and implementation through establishing a unified voice that represents project operators, local communities, and Indigenous Peoples.
- as a result of the above, to aid the alleviation and relief of poverty in socially and economically disadvantaged communities affected by climate change and environmental degradation.
